PinHaoJu ("we", "our", or "the app") is an AI-powered interactive storytelling app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Data you provide

• Story setup inputs: Characters, worlds, encounter descriptions, and story rules you type into the app. These are sent to our AI backend to generate story content.

Data collected automatically

• Usage counts: The number of stories you have generated is stored locally on your device and in iCloud Key-Value storage (if you are signed into iCloud) to enforce free-tier limits. This data never leaves Apple's infrastructure.
• Story history: Your generated story content (text and choices) is saved locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud Documents if you are signed into iCloud.

Data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.
• We do not use analytics SDKs or third-party tracking.
• We do not sell your data to any third parties.

AI Content Generation

Story content is generated by a large language model (currently Alibaba Cloud Qwen / Tongyi Qianwen) via our secure backend (Supabase Edge Functions). Your story setup inputs are transmitted to our backend and then to the AI provider to generate story text. We do not store your inputs on our servers beyond what is necessary to process the request.
